Local Missions

  • Riverbend Family Ministries

Our vision at Riverbend Family Ministries is to provide resources for smaller non-profit organizations to work together under one roof, providing families and individuals the tools they need to be self-sufficient. We concentrate our collaborative, holistic efforts on children, youth and families who’ve experienced trauma, most often due to violence, addiction, poverty and homelessness.

RFM provides resources and training for smaller non-profit organizations in the Madison County area. They work together under one roof, providing families and individuals the tools they need to be self-sufficient. Their collaborative method focuses on holistic efforts for children, youth and families who’ve experienced trauma, most often due to violence, addiction poverty and homelessness.

  • Community Hope Center

Since 1988 CHC has served individuals and families experiencing financial hardship, whether their circumstances are temporary, short-term, or long-term. We help by offering groceries, clothing, toiletries, household items, prepared meals, haircuts, and other services free of charge. We share hope by extending friendship, compassion, and encouragement to our clients each time they visit.

Our desire is that all who come to Community Hope Center will experience the love of Jesus through our actions. We do this by emphasizing five core values that are central to Community Hope Center’s mission.

  • Thrive- Metro East

Thrive is a safe, confidential, non-judging place where women and men in crisis pregnancy situations come for help and receive many free and confidential services

  • The Restore network

Foster care is designed to protect children, but unfortunately, it can harm them further. Kids are moved from place to place, many of which are not equipped to help them heal from their trauma.

The Restore Network was created to help the church respond. We link arms with those on the front lines of foster care through long-standing partnerships with child welfare agencies and court staff. But, as a privately run organization, we can remain agile in our response to the foster-care crisis, allowing us to respond in realtime, as Christ would.
